Why a board link will not download

A board is a collection. PinSaver saves one public Pin at a time and says so instead of failing quietly.

A grid of pale cards with one highlighted Pin and a check mark beside it.

Pasting a board address feels like it should save everything on that board. PinSaver refuses it on purpose. A board is a list of other people’s Pins, and this tool does not walk that list or pack it into a folder.

What to do instead

Open the board, tap the single public Pin you actually want, and copy that Pin’s link. It will contain /pin/ and a number, or it will be a pin.it short link. Paste that. You get the file Pinterest published for that Pin: video, image, GIF or the pages of a story.

The board page on this site exists so the limit is obvious. Private boards stay private. If you cannot open a Pin in a logged-out window, there is no file to fetch.

Saving one public Pin for your own reference does not give you the board, and it does not transfer copyright in any of the Pins on it.
