PinSaver is for creators, planners, teachers and anyone who wants a public Pin offline. A recipe video, a classroom still, a reference for a moodboard: paste the link and keep the file.
It runs in the browser you already use. There is no app to install and no extension asking for access to your Pinterest account.
There is no login. PinSaver does not keep the files it fetches for you, and it does not build a library of what you save.
One box for every public Pin. Open a tool if you want the page that matches the file.
Save a public video Pin as MP4, with the soundtrack that was uploaded and a preview before you commit.
Keep the full-size original instead of the 736px picture the feed shows you.
Animated GIFs stay animated. If Pinterest also published an MP4 of the same loop, that option is listed too.
Multi-page Pins come back as separate files, in the order the creator published them.
Grab the cover frame when you need a still for a reference or a moodboard.
Only public Pins can be processed. Private boards and secret Pins stay private.
The browser does the saving. PinSaver only hands it a file.
Safari saves the file to its download manager. Open it, then use Share to put a video or photo into your library.
Chrome puts the file in Downloads. From the notification, or from Files, you can move it into Gallery.
Any current browser saves to the Downloads folder. Ctrl+J or Cmd+J opens the list if the file is easy to miss.

Use cases, not reviews
PinSaver does not publish star ratings or invented quotes. These are the jobs the tool is meant for.
Pull a cover frame or a full-size still and drop it into a deck without screenshotting the app.
Keep a public cooking clip on your phone so the steps are there when the kitchen has no signal.
Save a public Idea Pin's pages before class, then play them from your own files.
Quick answers about PinSaver.
Yes. PinSaver does not charge, and it does not ask you to create an account. Short rate limits exist only to stop automated abuse, not to meter a normal visit.
No. You need the link to a public Pin and a browser. PinSaver does not connect to your Pinterest account and does not install anything.
No. If a Pin is private, deleted or hidden behind a login, PinSaver cannot see it either. Open the Pin in a private window: if you cannot, neither can this tool.
The best MP4 Pinterest published for that Pin, plus any smaller renditions we can find. PinSaver does not upscale or re-encode. If the creator posted 720p, that is the top of the list. A smaller upload stays small.
On iPhone and iPad, Safari keeps the file in Downloads, then you can Share it into Photos or Files. On Android, Chrome saves to the Downloads folder. On Windows and Mac, the file goes to your browser's Downloads folder.
No. The file is streamed to you when you ask for it. PinSaver does not build a gallery of Pins and does not store the media after the download finishes.
The link may point at a board, a profile or a search, or the Pin may be private, removed or a type the public page does not expose. Open the Pin itself, copy that link, and try again.
Only if you have the right to. Saving a public Pin for personal reference is not a licence to repost it, sell it or use it in an ad. Ask the creator. Copyright stays with them.
