On Android the browser does the saving. PinSaver hands it a normal file. There is no app to install and no Pinterest login.
The short path
Copy the Pin link from the share sheet. Paste it on the PinSaver home page, pick a quality, and tap Download. Chrome saves the MP4 to the Downloads folder. The notification is the fastest way back to the file. If you dismissed it, open Files and look in Downloads.
From there you can move the video into Gallery or leave it in Files. The soundtrack is the one the creator uploaded. The quality list shows the real width and height. A small upload is not labelled as something larger.
If the file is a still
Some video Pins also expose a cover image. That JPG is a separate download when you want a picture for a note and not the clip. Idea Pins with several pages save as separate files, one after another, in the published order.
